Strikers
1) Someone failed to connect a cross inside the six yard box with his head completely
2) Strikers must always know that they should never try to score a perfect goal when we are leading by only a goal. Chances don't always come by.
3) If the strikers have the time to control the ball before shooting, why not. Instead of risking to volley the ball way out of target, why not control before shoot when you have the time?
4) Watch the line!! (We were caught offside for many many occasions)
Bottom line: Strikers have to be more composed infront of Goal.
Midfield
1) More through pass is needed.
2) For wingers, more diagonal crosses are needed to supply the strikers, who will make their run for the ball, to convert the opportunity to score.
3) Midfielders did not show that they are hungry to win every single ball and take control of midfield.
Bottom Line: Midfielders need to be a bit more creative.
Defenders and GK
1) Defenders should not try to clear ariel ball with foot, but instead, with head. Offenly, in this game, defenders tend to miss-kick the ball and slice it backwards. (Very dangerous)
2) For myself, I must go and get the ball at the first time instead of letting the ball to bounce.
3) Lack of communication and the defenders are not paying much attention to GK command especially the last quarter of the game. Mistakes and defenders went MIA on several occasions.
4) None of the Defenders are communicating with one another to mark on coming runners. There should be a "leader" among the defenders to command the defensive line.
5) No one push up when I shout for it. And also no urgency to push up. Although I can understand that players are tired but we must always try to catch opponent offside. That was what happen to our strikers today. We were caught offside several times.
Bottom Line: Communication and lay Offside Traps. This is seriously needed in training to better the efficient of laying the offside traps.
Personal feel,
We should had kill off the game before the last quarter of the game. We were very lucky not to concede a goal when Kumar square the ball for the opponent striker, who has his shot denied by the puddle of mud. 2-0 victory does not reflect on our team's chance of scoring in front of goal. We should had won by at least 3 or 4 Goals easily.
Thats my personnal opinion and hope that no one is offended.
