  		Hi Thong and fellow admins of ABVN,

I am planning a project which will involve a few cyclists.

The plan is to bring our bicycles and fly to central Vietnam. While we ride, we will deliver dry food packages to needy families in villages. We will ride and deliver to each family, so the path we choose must be able to cater to the riding. Once we finish the delivery to the 150th family, we will ride back.

Jan or Feb 2014, i will visit to check the cycling route and also have a few requests to ensure. During my visit, i'll give food to the same 150 selected families. If you feel 150 is too little, we can increase to 200. The whole journey will take 7 days. 3 days for traveling and 4 days for the ride and project. We have only 4 days, so advise us in whether how many families is a reasonable target.

I encourage all ABVN members to join or travel with us. Let me know your thoughts.

I think it's quite difficult to carry out your plan due to the following reasons:

(1) The poor family, they live scatteredly not concentratedly on the cycling route, so we can't ride and deliver the foods. Furthermore, foods must be transported by truck, riding bicycle, can't carry foods.
(2) The list of poor family is only provided by somebody who used to do charity before. But usually, charity organization gather all poor families in one place for delivery

You are always welcome to come to Vietnam at any time. ABVN (especially bro fanvietnam, hungcatlai ...) are very eager to give a helping hand to any projects you are going to d in Vietnam

The plan is to ride with the truck. Then when we reach the family, we unload the food from the truck and give to the family. I hope to use this as a way to raise funds. Maybe 100 families is enough.

I want to visit each home and give them the food. This way the people who come along can see real living conditions for needy people. This will encourage them to contribute and help.

Also i need a person who is very good at English language so its easy to communicate.

that would be great plan. However, I am worrying about the fact that the needy families live scatteredly, then delivering to 100 family will take a lot of time. Anyway, let's study how then we can decide later.

So in which city will we do this time? Hue or Da Nang or Quang Tri?

Refering to the very good English command person, let me discuss to my friends whether they can give us a hand. As I am not sure at that time I can be a helping hand or not.

Propose a village that is most accessible. I will drop by for a visit in Jan.

Ensure its a route i can use for cyclists. An English speaking person is a must before i can come by.

We will continue to update the volunteer commitment when i am back in Singapore. From now till 15 July i am overseas.
