Alexis has a diverse professional background with 6.5 years in finance, having served as a Relationship Manager in Wealth Management and Private Banking.

In the past 8.5 years, Alexis transitioned into the technology sector, working in ad tech, where she currently leads a team of Business Development professionals.

Her role involves driving supply expansion in APAC and strategic partnerships with media owners, aiming to support journalism by driving traffic and revenue growth for premium publishers.

Alexis has been involved with the Workers’ Party for five years since the last General Election, contributing in various capacities. She volunteered for house visits, wrote cases at Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS), and was part of the planning and hosting team for Chinese New Year and National Day dinners. Alexis also supported the party with translation work for newsletters and parliamentary speeches for Workers’ Party MPs.

Alexis wants to support a credible opposition that can provide effective checks and balances—ensuring that no government holds a blank cheque. While a dominant ruling party may offer certain efficiencies, it also runs the risk of creating an echo chamber. Alexis believes it’s crucial to foster healthy discourse built on diversity of thoughts, experiences, and perspectives in Parliament—so that the formulated policies truly reflect the priorities of Singaporeans from all walks of life.

Alexis has worked hard for everything she has but has also come to recognise she couldn’t have done it alone. She’s a product of family, community, and a system that showed her kindness, support, and generosity—empowering her to live a life of passion and purpose. Now, she wants to give back—to be a voice for fairness, equal opportunity, and social mobility, so that every child, regardless of their starting point, has a real shot at realising their fullest potential—and in doing so, contributing to a more diverse, resilient, and vibrant Singapore.

Alexis believes that everyone is born with a unique gift and deserves to thrive. Society expands when we support one another and uplift talents. By embracing an abundance mindset over a zero-sum one, choosing hope over fear, we can build a world enriched by the contributions of all.

Alexis has a deep interest in history and culture and is passionate about empowering people to share their authentic stories. She believes in speaking up for the underprivileged and giving everyone a voice to amplify diverse perspectives and foster greater understanding.

In her leisure time, Alexis enjoys staying active — whether through weight training, pilates, spin classes, boxing, or simply taking walks in our nature parks. She is also a big fan of pop music and loves attending concerts whenever she gets the chance
