  		Better to buy the fat PS2 , cos the slim PS2 easy to spoilt, anyway, my PS2 only 2 years but haven spoilt yet, some of my frz whom had the slim PS2 which they conplain that it spoilt many times.

i think the 2nd hand fat PS2 still price range from $250-$300. cos i heard from some of my frzs said that 2nd hand PS2 r still worth $250, if not so old. eg: 4years.

PS2 new set is going for S$239 with mod so the old set can't be asking for any higher...

as for the PS3 able to play PS1 and PS2 games, the following applies

PS3 (40G) - only plays PS1 games
PS3 (60G and 80G) - plays both PS1 and PS2 games

However i was told that PS3 only plays Japanese version PS1 and PS2 games...can anyone verify that? tks

1) 40 GB PS3(cant play PS1 &2 games) : $550

  		I really don't see the point of buying a PS3 now. There are no 'must-buy' games out for PS3 out there these days. Well, maybe except 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune'. But that's that really.

I'd personally wait before getting a PS3.. wait for some good games to come out and then the price also would be dropped down. Buying a xbox360 seems more sensible right now to be honest.
